Boliq for Alexa

See your Boliq bollards in the Alexa app and lower them by voice, or raise them if you allow it, from an Echo or the Alexa app.

In Alexa each bollard shows as a garage door: open means lowered and close means raised.

Connect your bollards

1. On your phone, open the Alexa app.
2. Tap More, then Skills & Games, and search for Boliq.
3. Tap the Boliq skill, then Enable to use.
4. The Connect to Boliq page opens. Sign in with your Boliq login, tick the bollards Alexa can use, and tick Allow raising only if you want Alexa to raise them. Press Connect.
5. Say "Alexa, discover devices", or let the Alexa app find them for you.

Your bollards appear in Alexa with the names they have in the Boliq app.

Using it

• Say "Alexa, open the driveway" (with your bollard's name) to lower it.
• Say "Alexa, close the driveway" to raise it, if you allowed raising.
• In the Alexa app, open Devices and tap the bollard to see where it is or to open and close it.

Changing or removing it

Choose which bollards Alexa can use, or disconnect it, in Connected apps in your Boliq account. You can also disable the Boliq skill in the Alexa app.
